Original pressing of 3000 copies in a gatefold sleeve. All subsequent pressings came in a [url=http://www.discogs.com/Explosions-In-The-Sky-The-Earth-Is-Not-A-Cold-Dead-Place/release/547017]standard single sleeve[/url]. Side D contains no music but has an etching depicting birds and the sentence: "The Earth is not a cold dead place because you are listening, because you are breathing." This etching was cut deeper on the original pressing than it was on subsequent ones. Recorded June 2003 in Texas, USA.
